Tepuy Trek has a deep respect and appreciation for nature, so we seek for an intimate and mutual interaction between nature and people’s inner life, and travel with a purpose: to create a positive impact. Our services include challenges to some of the most remote destinations on Earth, in Latin America, allowing participants to raise money for charity. We give attention to humanitarian programs that involve quality education, good health & well-being, gender equality, and raise the level of awareness of ecological-sensitive areas.
Challenging yourself in the landscapes most admired by filmmakers and writers, and traveling to make a meaningful positive impact on the communities we visit.
Ecotourism is tourism differentiated by its emphasis on conservation, education, the responsibility of travelers, the promotion of conservation of natural resources, and active community participation.
A world where people have understanding and appreciation for nature, local society, and natural resources.
Tepuy Trek travels to remote destinations to bring enriching personal challenges to everyone involved whilst raising money for registered 501(c)(3) organizations in a responsible and ethical manner. Our long-term goal is to create incentives to support and meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To do this, Tepuy Trek is governed by the following principles:
Inspired by her passion for humanitarian work, Tepuy Trek's founder, Isis Mejias, decided to create Tepuy Trek in 2016. She has been a WASH advocate for several years and has participated in creating WASH programs with a number of NGOs and non-profit organizations. About our Founder
Our headquarters is in Houston, Texas. Our team of local guides operates from Santa Elena de Uairén, Venezuela and Santiago de Chile, Chile.
At Tepuy Trek, we have a passion for adventure challenges and we want to share it with you.
Our services include trekking challenges to remote destinations, such as Roraima and Auyán Tepuy, as well as flyovers around them, and to the highest waterfall in the world, the Angel Falls. The Gran Sabana is a unique place, full of impressive Tepuys, rock formations, rivers, endemic flora and fauna and waterfalls that are a natural source of energy. This region of the world offers a unique experience for adventure challenges that does not compare with any other topography on the planet. The Gran Sabana is a place of high ecological value. UNESCO, proclaimed Canaima National Park as a World Heritage Site in 1994, and is still a hidden wonder for many travelers. Tepuy Trek invites you to challenge yourself in the wonders of the Gran Sabana and Canaima National Park.
We also lead environmental conservation programs in the regions where we operate. We are firm believers in conservation and the vital role that we, as humans, play in protecting native plants and animals, and the landscape where we work. We firmly believe in the concept of minimizing our environmental impact, and we have a strong team of local guides who work in this idea every day. Our passion for nature is clear. Join us in the effort to promote environmental conservation and address the global need for safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene.
