Altos de Lircay National Reserve - Descabezado Grande Volcano
The Cóndores circuit is a hiking trail that connects the two most emblematic protected units of the Maule region: the Radal Siete Tazas National Park and the Altos de Lircay National Reserve. Both units were designated for protection and conservation of endemic flora and fauna species in this area of the country.
Once at the Altos the Lircay National Park, we will embark on a 5-day hike. The path crosses the foothills and high mountain range of the Maule region, and it serves as a viewpoint for a diversity of landscapes and vegetation that amaze visitors instantly. During this journey we will see beautiful waterfalls, lagoons, hot springs, forests, rivers and see the base of Descabezado Grande volcano.

Day 1: Arrival to Santiago de Chile.
Day 2: Ground Transportation to Vilches Alto, at the Cordillera of the Maule Region.
Day 3: Hike inside the park through dense forests through the Valle el Venado viewpoint up to the waterfall Velo de la Novia.
Day 4: Trek through green forests and arrival to hot springs.
Day 5: Hike towards the summit of Descabezado through the Andes’ spectacular view.
Day 6: Return to camp at the Valley of the Deer
Day 7: Return to the entrance of the park and take the ground transportation to Santiago.
Day 8: Day at your leisure.
Day 9: Return flight from Santiago.
